Shapes: White on Black

My goal for this projects was to have directional movement through the bananas and out to the random shapes. I wanted the paper to convey the sense that the bananas are placed in places on purpose and everything else is random. I think I did a pretty good job of doing so. After completing this project, I got the impression that I needed great improvement on the way I place shapes. I wanted to have it look very cool but in the end it didn't. I think I didn't have the shapes to do that. It seems like very good projects have very creative shapes, which I didn't have.

I made this amazing picture in the dark room.

Process

1. Place photo paper under light that isn't on yet

2. place objects on paper

3. hit button that turns on light and timer

4. after the picture process is done go through the whole developing process

In this project, my goal was to place objects on the paper in a somewhat intelligent way and still manage to have that random look. However, I had great trouble doing so, I just didn't quite know how to place my objects and convey one of the topics.
